1. 1) I know the mani that is working in this office

1.1. 2) I know the man who is working in this office

1.1.1. il "who" + verbo

1.2. il "that" + verbo

2. in questi casi indicano un PRONOME + verbo

2.1. il THAT può essere usato sia per cose che per oggetti

2.2. il WHO indica solo le persone

3. 1)I want to buy the watch that is in the shop window

3.1. 2) I want to buy the watch wich is in the shop window

3.1.1. il "witch" + il verbo può essere usato per le cose (o gli animali, esclusi i pet domestici)

3.2. il "that" + verbo

4. THAT --> PERSONE E OGGETTI

4.1. WHO --> PERSONE

4.2. WICH --> OGGETTI E ANIMALI SELVATICI

5. Nel caso di frasi con un inciso, NON si deve usare il "that"

5.1. The girl, who is wearing a red dress, is my sister

5.1.1. nell'inciso diamo un'informazione supplementare

5.2. The watch, wich is in the shop window, is very expensive

5.3. The shop, where I work as a shop assistent, is in the downtown

5.4. The holiday, when I met Mary, was the best I have ever had
